Was it all just a test case? Could it be political?
Expensive lawyers, expensive investigators (both with an interest in attracting high-spending clients in this area) excessive media-seeking behaviour, inexplicable 'mistakes', unusual media support and activity, influencer activation, lots of engagement farming, a feeling that everything is scripted and there is a story delivered in chapters. Is this a staged scenario to test limits of free speech and online expression of opinions? And no, before you come for me, I don't belong to any one team or another (or any mysterious whatsapp groups)... I'm just someone who doesn't feel comfortable accepting the background story for any of this at face value. Current thoughts are that it could just be about promoting reputation management services, or it could be political, or it could be both.
