sandwich maker

I’ve been at Greggs for over a year now and when I started we had an assigned sandwich maker, but after they left my managers kept saying they’d train me. It took ages, but they finally did, and for the last 3 weeks I’ve been doing them whenever I’m on shift

my issue is our cover supervisor, the other day I’d already finished all the breakfast rolls and baguettes when they said they were going to do the sandwiches instead. It wasn’t discussed beforehand they just decided then and there, I didn’t argue because I’m not really confrontational, but it definitely annoyed me,

whats confusing is that when my actual manager or any of the other supervisors are in, I’m left to do sandwiches without any issues. only this supervisor seems to take them over.

what really bothered me about it tho is that this is maybe the 3rd thing shes said to me in the month and halfish of working together, usually instead of speaking to me directly, she will often tell other people things like to tell me to go on break, or today when my usual supervisor told me she said she thinks she’s annoyed me with the whole situation, to which they responded that yes it should be me who does them, and she argued that she decided to do them since i apparently dont follow procedures/ i usually drop too much of the salad leaf?? i dont get it because rather than just talking to me herself It feels like she’s bringing other people into it, If theres a problem with what im doing why not tell me, feels really awkward between us.

adding to this, According to our area manager and operations manager, management generally aren’t supposed to be on b/o or on sandwiches anyway, so I’m not sure why this happened

overall question is basically If it does happens again, would I be out of line saying something like, “I’d rather do the sandwiches, since that’s what I’ve been trained to do,” or should I just cope because she’s higher up than me?
