Please help save my holiday

Myself and my partner are on a cruise. We flew to Italy and got on board.

The first night in Italy, after eating some pizza and pasta, I felt this sudden urge of shortness of breath. I can breath but it feels like I can't get a satisfying breath through my nose or in at all. It calmed down eventually and I went to sleep.

The 2nd day, I had nothing at breakfast and felt fine, had lunch and bang, shortness of breath. It settled down eventually. Dinner, bang, shortness of breath.

My partner noticed it was after eating every time so told me to keep track of it. I had a very small breakfast this morning and didn't feel too bad. I had a small lunch and again had nothing. This evening I had sushi with my partner and halfway through, bang, shortness of breath.

I have gastritis and a 2cm sliding hiatus hernia. I have had my heart checked and there is nothing wrong with my heart.

This is completely ruining our holiday. I'm taking my lansoprazole but it's not working clearly.

Any advice?

All tests positive, is it time to start believing?

28m

Weight 260ibs

5 foot 11

Family history of heart problems

Since dad died last year I've had many tests done.

8 trips to A&E this year alone.

Multiple ecgs.

1 troponin test

Echocardiogram

Cardiac MRI

Exercise Stress Test ECG

The only thing that has come back is "Patchy non-ischaemic late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) in the basal inferior, inferolateral, lateral, and septal.

Exercise Stress Test my heart rate reached 185bpm after doing the full 9 minutes.

Im sat here today still worrying about my heart despite the all clear.

I keep seeing stories on reddit about needing a Cath Lab to diagnose a bad blockage etc. I'm so worried i'll be one of the unlucky ones and have a blockage that is missed.

Is it time to start believing these results and continuing to move on with my life? My therapy is really helping but I'm still having these moments that flatten me.

Feeling breathless whilst still being able to breath?

I suffer with Gastritis and a sliding 2cm Hiatus Hernia. Take 20mg of omeprazole daily.

I sometimes have this feeling as if I can't breath when I clearly can otherwise I'd he on the floor gasping for air and not walking around or talking fine.

It feels like you can't get a satisfying breath, like your body is fighting you from doing it, even though I can breath fine?

It freaks me out. I have quite bad health anxiety since my father passed suddenly last year which doesnt help.

My vitals are fine. Happened 20 minutes ago and my bloody oxygen was 98%, heart rate was 70bpm and I have a peak flow meter for asthma which was sat at 650 L/min (normal).

Feels like im going mad lol

I can't keep doing this, feel like I'm going crazy

28 year old Male

19 stone 10 pounds

5"11

Sliding hiatus hernia 2cm

Normal blood pressure

Resting heart rate sits between 65 and 75 usually.

10mg of escitalopram to control panic and anxiety.

Family history of sudden cardiac arrest. Dad died last year at 58 years old.

This last year has been hell. I lost my dad to sudden cardiac arrest. We have a strong family history on his side. Ive decided to take control and lose some weight as it got a bit out of control for the last 6 years.

I had an echocardiogram which led to a resting cardiac mri.

Everything came back as satisfactory. All that was shown was patchy non ischaemic late Gadolinium enhancement in the basal inferior, inferolateral, lateral and septal walls. Follow up in 2 years. Doctors said they're not concerned.

I have been to A&E 7 times so far this year. I have been sent home everytime with no issues. Sent home only once after ecg and troponin test which showed nothing. Every other time was just ecg.

I am currently receiving therapy to control my trauma and cardiophobia.

I have booked a private exercise ecg to check if am safe to exercise. I have seen so much progress where for a good week I stopped checking my vitals.

The hospital had to cancel the exercise ecg due to a broken treadmill, and its sent me absolutely spiralling.

Currently dealing with chest pain, arm numbness in both arms, shoulder pains in both sides, stomach pain, pain in the sternum, feeling sick, just in general terrified of something happening.

I was in hospital less than 2 weeks ago due to thinking I was having a cardiac event and was cleared. When will this ever end?

Sorry just needed to rant as I feel like im losing my marbles over this

Low Heart Rate - 5mg

I'm new to taking Lexapro. Doctor has started me on 5mg to ease the constant panic attacks I've been having for the last 2 weeks.

My usual resting heart rate is normally between 75/85 give or take.

At the moment, its so much lower. Im noticing my heart rate hitting 58 when resting. Last night whilst lying in bed, my heart rate hit 52 and it completely freaked me out when I checked it (i know i shouldn't but I have severe health anxiety/cardiophobia).

Today is my 6th day taking it. Is this normal or is something going on?

Please help my interpret the results from this letter

Waited 4 weeks for my cardiac mri results.

After chasing and chasing, all I can see on my NHS app is a letter sent to my GP from the Cardiologist.

I've never met or spoken to my Cardiologist which is extremely frustrating.

I just want him or someone in the profession to sit me down and tell me what the score is. I have severe health anxiety and its been the worst its ever been since my dad passed away suddenly at 58 last year.

"I have now reviewed the result of a cardiac MRI for Mr ------, just demonstrates normal biventricular volumes and function with LV wall thickness at the upper limits of the normal and patchy non ischaemic late Gadolinium enhancement in the basal inferior, inferolateral, lateral and septal walls.

Findings are non specific and therefore no CMR diagnostic features of ARVC are noted.

The consultant cardiologist who has reported the scan in St Thomas’ Hospital has suggested that we repeat the scan in two years’ time for any progression or changes.

I would be grateful please to re refer Mr ------ in two years’ time and I would rebook the scan for him.

Many thanks."

I have no idea what any of that means. Am I safe to exercise as normal? Can I live a normal day to day life? I have no idea what is going on anymore
