Positive experience switching from tirzepatide to semaglutide?

Surprised I’m not finding more discussions on this. I was on compounded tirzepatide for a year and a month — down 60 lbs — and just switched three days ago to compounded semaglutide for cost savings and because I’m just trying to maintain at this point.

I had no side effects on tirzepatide and I know that side effects are reportedly worse on Semaglutide; unfortunately I’m finding that to be true. I have a bit of an upset stomach since the shot and I’m generally tired. I have to assume that I should give it a few weeks for my body to adjust. I was on 15 mg of tirzepatide where I maintained the same weight for about 3 months, and so they have me on the equivalent of semaglutide, which is 2.5 mg.

I’m curious if anyone can share a positive experience about the switch, if it took time to adjust, have tips on how to power through, etc. Or, if you experienced this for a while on the sema and made a switch back.

TIA!
