How to: job consulting

Hi everybody,

I am working in a German federal employment agency (don't hate me, I like my job and I try to help as good as I can).

Lately, I've had my first trans client (m2f if that matters). Quite a nice woman and a good first appointment.

Two problems:

Firstly, she is most probably being discriminated on the labour market because of her sexuality. That means, it is a topic to discuss in a way. I'm feeling uncomfortable to mention her sexuality because I fear, it's like "just by the looks you are obviously not a woman" and that might come across mean.

Secondly, I don't really know how to help with the discriminated issue. She is being denied wherever she applies.

Any advice?
