Galaxy S22 Ultra charging very slowly after removing wireless charging/NFC

I recently replaced the battery of my S22 Ultra and also detached the wireless charging coil/NFC assembly. The reason is that I want to apply a clear rear glass to the back and the wireless charging coil blocks all the cool parts of the phone. And no I don't want to apply a transparent skin to the phone.

It seemed like everything was working fine but after trying to charge my phone with normal charging speed, it basically took at least 3 hours to charge from 15% to 80%. I also tried Super Fast Charging and it also took longer than normal. I did some research that the temperature sensor is in the part that I removed. The phone didn't give me any warnings or anything while charging.

Does anyone know why this may affect charging speed?

Is there anything I can do to fix charging speed since I really want to keep the wireless charging coil detached.

The back is still open so I can place it back easily.

Should I buy a used M4 or M5 iPad pro with nano texture?

I'm looking to buy a used iPad with the nano-texture display from eBay. Right now, I can find an M4 model for around $950, while the newer M5 is about $1,350.

Given that the performance difference between the M4 and M5 doesn't seem huge for most users, which one makes more sense to buy? My main priority is getting the nano-texture screen, and I plan to keep the iPad for several years.
