Hii!!! So as the title suggests I’ve bitten the bullet and have ordered an iPad Pro M5 as it was currently on sale on Amazon.

It’s probably going to be WAY overkill for my workload, as I primarily plan to write in goodnotes, draw in ibispaint (or try out procreate) and overall just watch shows and movies.

My previous device was a S10 FE which was fine but goodnotes lagged so much and the pencil wasn’t as supported as I liked it to be.

The main reason for the post is, I wanted to ask if there’s anything of note, like tips or suggestions that I should know of when I get my iPad? Example maybe settings that are worth checking / changing!

Hey :), i recently joined the iPad community and got myself a treat with the 11" iPad pro M5. I got the apple pen pro, a nice case and a paperlike screen protector for drawing. I really enjoy the experience so far, yet i feel like i dont really use any of the cool IOS/ Pro features that come with my new device.

I do use it for uni to take notes in onenote tho ^^'. For context i study Media design and tech.

Do you guys have any tips or app reccomendations for me?

So, i have an ipad air which has apple care for enterprise warranty and the ipad has some screen issue, not broken or anything. I bought it from someone who had this warranty.
Now i want to know where can i get it fixed and can i use apple care for enterprise warranty?
Any guidance would help alot 🙂.

I was playing a game on my iPad (7 th gen) when the battery was low I connected it to the charger not charging in fact the battery died. After 2 days still shows no charge, I have swapped cables chargers and used different outlets.

Looking to buy an iPad Pro 11". Don't need the M5 (or really even an M-anything) since it's just for reading, writing, and drawing. I'm stuck on the OLED screen, however, so I'm focusing on the Pro since I feel like the other options are already too expensive to not get everything I'd want in the device.

Anyway, $909 for the M4 256gb model seems to be the best deal I found that would still have apple care as an option. Would you recommend waiting for deals on the M5 or is this the best it gets?

Sidenote: I was looking into open box on Best Buy, but it seems to be pretty dry at this point in the product's lifecycle. I could get used but since it's a device I'll be handling a lot I wanted the option for insurance.

EDIT: Thank you for the advice, everyone. While I do not have access to Facebook Marketplace due to being freaked out by Facebook's video selfie requirement for new accounts, I will pump the breaks and keep an eye out for a better deal.

so while I was on vacation my mom cleaned my room and put my sandals on top of the screen of iPad nano textured. Will this cause damage to my ipad ?

What’s the best tablet to buy for university? I don’t want Apple devices because I don’t like their operating system. I want recommendations based on personal experience, not just compliments. Please mention the downsides too, because no device is perfect and every device has its drawbacks.

A lawyer this side. I’m looking for a tablet for strictly work purposes. My usage will mainly include using, word, PowerPoint, Excel, opening several documents, mainly PDFs at once, using Microsoft Outlook teams and working on several tabs in a browser. I have following three options:

1. Buy Ipad Air M4 in Amazon sale.
2. Buy 4.5 year old ipad pro m1 from one of my trusted sources for 30k.
3. Buy an android tab like Xiaomi Pad 8 for around 33k.

I am confused between all above options and the fact that if at all I go for a new ipad, can Ipad A16 fulfill my requirements?

Also want to confirm if ipads have a pc mode like android tablets.

Requesting the community to guide me on the most cost effective option or any other option.

Since I updated my iPad M4 Pro 11" to iPadOS 27 I'm have a issue in fps games like COD MOBILE and its the worst issue in games like that... DELAY ON TOUCH RESPONSE TIME... anyone notice that too ?
