I know GOW scalers have seen very dark days but this might actually seal the deal for me 😭✌🏾. Y’all can read this if you want, it’s honestly a waste of time because they’ve openly admitted they don’t know scaling and tiering, but y’all got it man, lol.
So as we all know, GOW Laufey’s gameplay trailer was shown at the state of play and we might have some pretty shocking revelations. Begtse upon encountering Faye (at least how I’m interpreting this scene) not only does a close inspection but something similar to what Freya did to Kratos in GOW (2018) upon meeting him where they have a sense to probe one’s true nature/essence. Not only this, but he literally calls her a “godling” shortly after doing so which suggests she has a divine nature but of a lesser tier to fully divinely born beings like Zeus, Odin, etc.
We also know from the official translation of the Icelandic lyrics from Bear McCreary’s “Lullably of the Giants” theme (which is on his website) that Giants/Jotuns are neither a divine race or mortal race. The theories that’ve been floating around for some time now suggesting Laufey is a daughter of Odin or relative to Thor might be cooking and onto something tbh!!!
