Tubing at the base of my shaft: looking for insight

Hi all, I'm on day 7 after my Titan with Dr. Eid. I can feel the tubing from the pump to the reservoir along the left side at the base of my shaft. A small loop of it sits about 1 cm up from the base and about half a cm out from the shaft. It compresses easily, but if it stays like this, it would get pressed on whenever I use my full length, and I don't love the idea of it sitting raised there even if it's not very visible.

- Did your tubing settle in and become less noticeable as the swelling went down?
- Does yours sit low enough that it doesn't take away from usable length at the base?

How long did you wear it tucked up in your waistband?

Quick question for those further along in recovery. How long did you keep your Titan positioned up in your waistband during healing, and was it all day or just certain hours? I'm asking for aesthetic healing purposes, since I've read it helps with how you eventually settle when inflated. thanks!

First look after the dressing came off, please share!

Day 3 after my Titan with Dr. Eid, and to be frank, it looks fucked up now that the dressing is off: bruised, swollen, dents and bumps. I know it's supposed to look off, but I'm still shaken. If anyone else felt this way, would you be willing to share:

- What was your first reaction when the dressing came off?
- How did your new flaccid change from day 3 to a couple of months out?

Anyone else get severe bicep soreness?

I have pretty bad shoulder instability but I don’t fully dislocate and only rarely sublux. What I’m trying to figure out is something I’ve started calling “rotten biceps.”

It impacts at least one bicep, but often both at the same time. It’s a deep soreness way beyond anything I experienced before my symptoms started. The closest comparison is a pulled muscle, but it’s intensely painful to the touch and worse than any other muscle pain I get, maybe because of where it is.

Has anyone experienced something like this? And if so, has anyone figured out what actually causes it?

Anyone knowledgeable about what actually predicts surgical outcomes with connective tissue disorders?

I'm 22 with HSD, scheduled for a penile implant after years of severe ED and attempting to pre-empt inevitable fibrosis from injection therapy. The ED is longstanding, but my connective tissue problems only started about two years ago and are still progressing.

My presentation is mixed, which makes it hard to know what to expect post op. My skin heals normally, no atrophic scarring. But internally I feel like I'm falling apart. My worst joints crunch like styrofoam and my shoulder is deteriorating rapidly.

For anyone who's had surgery (especially with implanted hardware) or has clinical knowledge:

  1. Did external wound healing predict how you healed internally, or were those separate?
  2. Any issues with implants, mesh, or hardware migrating, eroding, or not holding? Did joint symptoms like crepitus correlate with how surgical sites held up?
  3. If your symptoms appeared or worsened in adulthood, did that change your surgical outcomes? Anything you wish you'd asked or requested beforehand?

Not looking for guarantees, just real experiences so I can have a smarter conversation with my urologist about risk. Sorry for the long-ish read. I appreciate you all!

Thanks.

How is post-op girth determined? (Titan)

Question for anyone familiar with how post-op girth typically works out. Is final girth mainly determined by the implanted cylinder size, or by your own tissue capacity, or something else? Trying to understand how it actually works before my August surgery. No fibrosis or atrophy. For reference, my pre-op stats: erect girth 5 3/8, BPEL 6.7, NBPEL 6. Appreciate the help, and yes I agree one that works is better than one that doesn’t.

Edibles and healing after implant?

Hey y’all, I’ve got surgery with Dr. Eid coming up in mid August. I use edibles nightly and Eid cleared me to continue, but I have a connective tissue disorder so wound healing is a bigger concern for me than most. Does anyone have insight on cannabis and healing after an implant? Appreciate any input

About a month out from implant with Dr. Eid. How aggressive should I be pumping?

Scheduled with Dr. Eid about a month from now. I know he has patients pump before surgery to help with sizing and tissue expansion, and I want to make the most of the time I have left.

For those who went through this, how aggressively were you pumping in the final weeks? Once a day? Twice? How long per session and what pressure did you work up to?

Also wondering if there’s a point where more is counterproductive, like bruising or irritation close to surgery day. Did anyone get told to stop pumping a certain number of days before?

How did your erect appearance and angle change?

Right now I have a mild upward curve naturally. From what I understand, the implant erection tends to point more straight out or slightly downward depending on the device and how it settles. I plan on getting the titan. For those of you who had a natural upward angle before surgery or are willing to give input:

-Did you lose the curve entirely, and did the change bother you or your partner?

-How does the erect appearance compare overall in terms of girth, shape, and how “natural” it looks?

Looking for realistic expectations on the cosmetic side since most posts focus on function and recovery. Appreciate any honest input.
