Years of bruxism. How do I fix my lower teeth?

Years of bruxism. How do I fix my lower teeth?

I had a perfect bite as a teenager. I was told to wear a night guard all my life because I clench my teeth. I was very negligent with it though. I only started wearing the night guard at night in the past months regularly. I’m 28 y/o now. As you can see, my lower teeth are short and worn down. I can’t help it. I often get the urge to apply pressure on my lower front teeth with my upper front teeth. It’s a tick to me, something like skin picking or hair pulling in others, I guess. I think it’s due to stress and anxiety. It’s some kind of stress relief for me. I also have a deviated septum which could also contribute to this.

How can I fix this? I’m making sure to not exacerbate the damage but how are worn down teeth like this usually treated? Do I just have to accept them?

Is surgery guaranteed to increase T?

Varicocele is quite prevalent, up to every fourth to fifth guy has it, apparently. I read a study that found an average ~34 ng/dl increase in total T after surgery for non-hypogonadal men and ~105 ng/dl increase in hypogonal men. Why isn’t every man with a varicocele rushing to get it fixed? Why isn’t varicocele a bigger topic in society? This sub barely has 10k members. Am I missing something or are the negative effects of varicoceles vastly overstated on forums like this? Do most men with varicoceles not suffer from significantly lower T or testicular atrophy?

I‘m 28 yrs old and have a mild grade 1 varicocele. I’m mostly worried about testicular atrophy and low testosterone. The urologists I’ve been to have been very much against surgery because of anesthesia risks. I want to get it fixed though.

I’ve had varicocele for many years, how much damage is done?

I’ve had a varicocele for close to 8-9 years now. My doctor back then didn’t offer me surgery and said it’s common and nothing to worry about if I don’t have any pain. I’m 28 now. My balls are small. I haven’t had regular morning wood for many years now. Was depressed for a long time. Is clinical significant atrophy from varicocele common in adults? Or is the risk rather in adolescents where varicocele could cause growth arrest of the testes? Anyone else here who had a varicocele for a long time but didn’t get it fixed for many years? I feel like an idiot
