So I went walking in the woods between East Texas & Hazel Jones Rd. where Alligator Bayou runs & there’s an long twisty trail that I can tell some spots used to be paved. A lot of torn up concrete that would tell me there used to be buildings of some sort. Culverts & all & it’s strange that all this would be in the middle of the woods do any of you have any type of information

I’m American but my family is descended from Basques from Abaurrea in Spain & Bayonne in France. We only retained the French language in my family & English bc we in America now but I want to learn to speak Basque. Any help?
