
Ouch my heel!
So I’m curious… does anyone else into barefoot/minimalist shoes deal with this? One perfectly placed pebble under the heel and I’m limping for 3 days. 😂
Curious what people have found actually works without ruining the barefoot feel:
• Tougher feet over time?
• Different walking/running mechanics?
• Slightly thicker soles?
• Heel inserts/pads?
• Specific shoe brands/models?
• Just avoid gravel forever?
Feels like the Achilles/heel insertion area is the worst spot when a sharp rock hits just right.
