Rally realizations
I have been with my franchise for almost 3 years. I’ve been a GM for a year this July.
Going to the rally made me see how much other franchises are actually a team and how much there are people that wanna work together with each other I feel very out of place in my franchise personally I am very different than all of them. I don’t know if that’s why I see a lot of place but I also feel like I do not get a lot of help or resources or was really properly trained which I have been in Food service for 12-13 years now. This isn’t my first management job. My numbers aren’t that great but my employee turnover is very low and I have a 4 1/2 star rating on Google and we are consistently better quality than the other dominoes in town, which is also owned by the same franchise. Talking with a few different people at the rally DM’s GM’s people at various levels I found out my franchise just sucks. There’s a couple ups as our bonuses are only based off of Food cost and labor, I just kind of wanted to reach out and see if anybody felt the same or opposite, but there seem to be a lot of other opportunities that I could take advantage of and I just wanted to dip my toes in the water I guess and see if anybody else feels remotely similar. And it really made me want to see if there were other opportunities at different franchises, almost willing to relocate depending on if there is more help and of course, the ever going motivation more money.
