Hyderabad Hotel Options

Hello! We are going to India this November to visit family. We will be staying with extended family at the Hyatt Place Hyderabad for 4 nights of the trip and that seems to be an excellent location for some things for wanting to do in the area.

My husband, toddler, MIL, and I will stay 2 extra nights after extended family leave town. We are trying to decide if we just stay those last two nights at the Hyatt Place or if we move to the Park Hyatt. We could move hotels for just 4,000 more points per night, but is it worth the transfer? What are pros and cons to moving or staying put at the Hyatt Place?

The Gachibowli hotel looks beautiful, but we would have to book an extra room there to accommodate three adults. This is just one part of a 3 week international trip so we want to be a little more conservative with our points/dollars.

15 hour flight with 2 toddlers

My family and I are heading to India to visit family for 3 weeks. We will have 4 adults, a 12 month old, and an 18 month old. We have a 15 hour flight and a 5 hour flight.

We did not get the babies seats because it just wasn’t in the budget unfortunately. We are flying with Cathay Pacific and we are able to choose any seats we want in economy class for free when booking with an infant.

As of now we booked four seats in the center row bulkhead with two bassinets. Both boys will be under the technical weight limit for the bassinet, but they are intended for younger babies, so I won’t be surprised if they do not let us use them.

Considering we do not have seats for the babies, what advice do people have? are there other seats we should consider? Any tips for sleep and entertainment?

I am not expecting this to be an easy journey by any means, but it will be worth it to get a few weeks with extended family. I am aware that having a toddler in his own seat would be ideal, but that’s not in the cards right now and not a decision we made lightly.

Tips for trip with toddler

My husband and I decided to do a 4 day layover in Hong Kong on our way back to the States from India in November. We will arrive on Sunday morning and leave Thursday afternoon and will have our 16 month old with us.

We don’t know much about Hong Kong, but are excited to explore the area a bit and go to Disneyland. I’ve been to Orlando Disney World handful of times, but this will be my husband’s first time at a Disney park.

This will be at the end of a 3 week trip and we will probably all be a bit tired and on a budget. Well want to take things slowly. At this point, we plan to stay at Hyatt Regency, TST, but may be up for booking a night at the Hollywood hotel.

Do folks think we should do one or two days at the park? How worth is it to stay on site? Any other activities in the area that are good with a toddler?
