I have a very complex past. In two sentences:

I was born in Ghana, left when I was 6 years to a woman who claim to be my mother and left me when I was 9 months.

Our relationship did not worked out and she left me again at age 12 now in europe.

Now I have asked her for my birth certificate many times after, but there is always an exuse. The reason I ask is because in my government files the name of my mother is two last names and the father name does not match my name, neither does her last names match mine. Plus I am 100% sure I was 6 when I left Ghana, I remember everything, from the last meal and getting out of the plane, however my passport and the dates she give me do not add up.

I want to know if it is normal in Ghana for a kid to have their own last name that is not related to their family? Is it normal to have two last names as your full name? Is it normal to call someone in Ghana for someone to send a birth certificate of someone else?

These questions have hunted me for years, please let me know.

I am not sure what to do. I am living in Thailand after Europe went totally wrong for me when I came back after the pandemic (before I was living in Singapore). I started a fashion brand right after my bachelors in Business Innovation in Asia, which went quite well until covid. I decided to move to Europe but failed to establish myself and brand in Spain, UK and Netherlands. I lost everything I ever owned and found out I was pregnant at 4 months. I decided to move to Thailand and I got the baby here.

Now I have many SAAS ideas, I have experience in fashion business, I can code, develop websites, create AI systems and more. I am not so great in the marketing and sales of these skills and due to starting a company after study, I do not have a lot of work experience. All my coding skills are slef taught.

I am living here nowfor almost 2 years, I have failed to land a remote job or to find clients (only had 1) for web development or AI. I am lost and do not know what to do. My baby father acts like his nose is bleeding and refuse to help. I will have to go to court (I am dutch by the way) and that will cost me, I will have to save money for that. I have send 267 applications, 6 replies, one I got to the3rdinterview to hear a no.

I can not get any governmental help from the dutch government because I have not been there for more than 7 years, so now I am stuck in Thailand, no steady income and now I am a little lost in what to do. I tried changing my personality to be more outgoing and more as a sales person but it felt terrible. Just sharing my desperateness.
