I have an offer to join palantir as a software engineer (dev) and contemplating whether I should get clearance. Want to get some insight from ppl at Palantir

\- Recruiter said it’s optional but would I restrict myself from certain projects if I don’t have it (I’m joining an infra team)
\- is there a clearance bonus, if so how much and is it a one time bonus?
\- do you think it’s worth getting clearance overall?

Hey everyone, new to the sub! I’m joining Palantir soon and trying to optimize my equity grant to get the most shares. I need to pick my start date and am weighing whether to start before or after the upcoming earnings call on August 3rd. Want to hear some of your guys’ opinions.
