Noob question on crashing system
Hey all, first time poster/modder here.
Been loving my Vita so far, but recently ran into a problem I’m having difficulty troubleshooting. I’m pretty green when it comes to the technical side of this stuff but it’s been performing okay up to this point. Sometimes when playing a game either native to the Vita or on Adrenaline, the system will crash unexpectedly. When I reboot the system my battery percentage hovers somewhere in the 30-40% range but eventually shuts itself down. It’s happened a few seconds into rebooting, it’s taken a few minutes, it seems almost at random. I’ve tried the Battery Fixer app, I’ve also tried updating VitaDB and then deleting it altogether because I’ve heard there is a bug that can come up at some point that will crash everything.
The thing that confuses me is that my cable connects to my PC fine, but almost refuses to charge the Vita when it’s connected to power. Sometimes the orange light will come on for a couple seconds when I try different blocks or a USB hub in a power bar. Wondering if my battery is toast or my cable has a bad connection to power? If anyone with more expertise has any thoughts, I’ve tried everything I can think of. Thanks!
