Every time I try to use Apple Car Play, I get a message about not being able to authenticate.

This issue just started maybe 3 days ago, but the Apple Car Play has been a bit annoying for several months (I have to try a few times before it actually connects). This is the first time I've not been able to connect at all. I'm using the charger cord, if that makes a difference.

Anyone else have issues with it?

UPDATE: SOLVED!

I appreciate everyone's help. Somehow my entertainment setting had randomly reset my phone to "never enabled". I reset it to "Always Enable" and everything's fine now.
