Career Advice

Hello everyone,

I’m 30 and have been working as a buyer for about 7 months at a manufacturing company. I came from a completely different career field, so supply chain is still pretty new to me.
I also have about a year left until I finish my bachelor’s in Industrial Leadership.
So far I like procurement and supply chain, but I’m trying to figure out what I should be doing now to set myself up for the future.
For those who have been in the field for a while, what would you recommend focusing on early in my career? What career paths are worth looking into after getting some experience as a buyer?
Just curious to hear where others started and where they ended up.

Looking for Recommendations

I have a 1999 4Runner Limited 4WD and I’m looking for some suspension recommendations.
I want to make it as capable as I can off road, but I don’t really want to lift it or change the way it sits/drives too much. Maybe a very small lift if it actually helps, but nothing crazy.
What suspension setup would you guys recommend? Shocks, springs, control arms, etc.?
Basically looking for the best off-road performance I can get while keeping it close to stock height and still good on the road.

99 4Runner Limited

Hello everyone, I am looking for advice on whether or not this is a good deal. We agreed to 7,750 but I don’t know if that is a good deal. It has 225k miles. I attached the listing description below

1999 Toyota 4Runner – Clean, Reliable Daily Driver

Selling my 1999 Toyota 4Runner because I’ll be moving soon. This has been my daily driver and has been maintained consistently with reliability in mind. I’ve kept it as close to OEM as possible, with only a few comfort upgrades added. Miles will continue to go up slightly since it is still being driven regularly.

Features & Recent Maintenance:

* Cold A/C
* Wireless CarPlay radio
* Airlift kit added to rear suspension
* No warning lights on the dash
* Oil & transmission fluid changed less than 30 days ago
* Timing Belt replaced at 174,000 miles
* Battery replaced in June 2024
* 2 keys + key fob
* 4WD works and has been used occasionally

Runs and drives great. Clean, dependable SUV that’s ready for its next owner.
