A sage-coloured stone found in northern Italy

Hello everyone, I found this rock whilst out for a walk in the Sebino peat bogs in northern Italy. I was particularly struck by its colour and by the fact that two of its corners have smooth fractures, whilst the other two have a very subtle zigzag pattern that’s easy to feel when you touch it. Could you tell me what sort of stone it is?

I’m wondering if it might be flint...

It has the same hardness as hyaline quartz

Is it too late?

Hi everyone, a few days ago I received a Plectranthus amboinicus plant, and when I repotted it, I found this little thing tucked away amongst the leaves. I had to put my hand behind it to take the photo – it kept coming out of focus. I think it’s some sort of aloe; I’ve given it its own pot, and I was wondering what I could do to try and save it. Could you help me?

The plant is currently outdoors, where the temperature is 30–35 °C during the day,

2–3 hours of light a day, facing ENE,

and around 20 °C at night.

I received the main plant a week ago and watered it a couple of times; I watered it again for the first time two days after repotting it into this pot two days ago. *

*Let me correct that: repotted 4 days ago (Saturday), watered two days ago (Monday)
