Chess like Timed Mode Settings for Multiplayer

I see a lot of people who struggle with the timer, myself included esp. in the late game.

wouldn't it be nice, to be able to choose yourself, how much time you are willing to invest in turns, similar to chess with blitz, bullet, rapid etc.

Probably still needs adjustments for every Format but it would be great, if there would be a setting of how long your timer should be, cause its frustrating af

Item for native Terrain?

Hey I've been looking through the effects of native terrain, and i think it's sad, that only necro and scism get to treat every terrain as their own. But i think every faction has something in their law tree for their terrain and some skills ( especially adv. faction skills with +/- 10% dmg) that interact with it too. i usually don't take because they're not active when it matters most.

I'm thinking specifically of temple's "sacred land" thats crazy late and never worth it. Idk how it is for classic or single player games but it's completely garbage in single hero.

Only problem would be if both players had an effect like that. My suggestion would be, that it splits the battle map in half and you only get the benefits while standing on your own side.

It ofc would need to be a legendary item and probably for the misc. slot.

Why isn't fleeing a neutral fight a thing in single hero?

I see it constantly and even the pros sometimes take fights too big for them. But there is nothing more anticlimactic for the match to suddenly end, because a player miscalculates his odds, it just feels kinda bad for both sides.

Isn't fleeing a battle already punishment enough? You lose so much tempo by doing this, many people would probably surrender anyway at this point. But at least you still have a chance and it would actually encourage taking riskier fights.

Really curious what's the community opinion on this. Would maybe give some heroes who keep the army by fleeing a niche? (Although i doubt it)
