Hi everyone! I’m planning to travel to Spain in December 2026 or January 2027 and will be applying for a Schengen visa through BLS. For those who have applied before, when would you recommend booking a BLS appointment? I’m wondering how many months in advance is ideal, especially since appointment slots can fill up quickly. My boyfriend is a Spanish Citizen and he wants me to visit him in Spain. He will buy the plane ticket and I will be staying with him in his home. This will be our first time meeting and his mother wants me to come visit them this year. We’re thinking that I should just apply for a self funded tourist visa to keep the requirements simpler.
a. Government Employee for 6 years(Job Order) with 40k monthly salary
b. I will be enrolled in an ETEEAP program this year. I’m not sure if this can be used as proof of my intention to return to the Philippines.
c. 300K combined bank balances with ADB of 200K
d. With previous travel history to Japan in 2024
I am planning to visit Spain for approximately 14 days in November or December. Could you please give me some insight and advice regarding my chances of approval and when I should apply through BLS Spain? Thank you.
