Suggestions?
I am on my third rewatch of what's available for Apothecary Diaries on Hulu (i.e. the English dub of season one). I love this show so much, I cannot stop watching it. I'm like that picture of Lois staring at the pill bottle but instead of drugs it's the show whenever I've finished a rewatch. Does anybody have any suggestions for other series like this? I don't know if it's because I watched Frieren right before watching this and the way the two shows do color is VERY different. I can literally only describe this show as delicious to look at. And it doesn't shy away from heavy topics. And its pacing is so well done and its characters are so well written. And there's so many threads that are placed and carried through multiple episodes, never forgotten. I NEED MORE. I'm aware there's a second season but I don't have a VPN so I can't watch it unless I sail the seven seas (which ya know, I do love this show...). So I would appreciate any and all recommendations for shows like this that you guys know of.
Edit: I refuse Crunchyroll. They were tolerated, then they were on thin ice, then they used AI when bringing over one of my favorite anime.
