The real reason rhaenyra has no beef with her sister.

I've wondered if another more important reason that rhaenyra calls her sister sweet haelena is due to her claim being weaker than hers. I've never seen it ever mentioned in any discussions yet so I'm curious if other people have also thought of that

Help finding work

I've been working in-house as a BMET/Clinical Engineering Tech at a hospital and have realized it's probably not the right fit for me long-term. I think I'd be happier either working from home in a healthcare IT-related role or doing OEM field service.

What I liked about field service was being responsible for a specific manufacturer's equipment, traveling to sites, fixing the issue, and moving on to the next. I prefer that over managing a large variety of devices within a hospital.

I'm located between Baltimore and Washington, DC and ideally looking for OEM field service positions around the $85k+ range that would still allow me to be home most weekends. I've already applied to Boston Scientific (which seemed like a perfect fit), Abbott, Thermo Fisher, and GE. Some other companies I've looked at don't currently have openings in my area.

For those of you in OEM field service, what companies would you recommend I look into? Are there any manufacturers that regularly hire in the Baltimore/DC region that I may be overlooking?
