Starting a doula business of some sort
Hello! I am in the process of getting my certification for birth and postpartum with DONA, but I want to start my own business. I see that it is a lot of hard work having your own business but I want to see all the tips you guys can give me to start! I live in Virginia and there’s not a requirement of certifications or anything like that to be a doula. However, do I need anything else to start my own business like an LLC? Or do I kinda just start ? I am almost done with my workshop and they’re going to talk about the business side of things a little bit, like contacts and things like that but they’re based in California.
