Okay so I've recently been admitted to Electrical and Electronic engineering with my hostel induction being on 14th July and college induction on 15th. Now the thing is-

Is there ragging?

What should be my expectations?
What is the social scene like? Fests? Class schedule?
People say "VIT is very strict" so what's the truth like?
Any other basic information would be appreciated

I didn't study for JEE, willingly didn't study for it so I could always have "not studying" as a backup excuse, but now? I don't have any excuse now, I gave my all, and still failed. Gave my all, and it still wasn't enough.
