I think my glp1 is helping with my acrylate allergy flare ups .
Disclaimer: Its just speculation of my symptoms I haven brought it up to a doctor yet.
So, I searched online if glp1 can help with inflammation and ofc they do. But I’m pleasantly surprised by my results relating to my acrylate allergy. I used to avoid using certain makeup products, skincare, shampoo &. Even lotions . God forbid I use regular nail polish or even nail glue. Sometimes I risk breaking out just to feel glam and I know that’s bad bc of exposure but I’ve been dealing with this allergy for 3 years and sometimes I like to wear my nails and such once in a while. I recently went on vacation after being on my glp1 for 2 months now and I was wearing all of the above. Nail glue , sun screen (which also causes bad flare ups for me) eyelash extensions. & makeup . All I got was a verrrry small dry patch no itch , no inflammation, no cracked skin from extreme dryness . I feel it’s definitely due to the glp . I wish I had done this sooner ! Side note : I’m still careful with what I use on my skin just in case but I have been using nail polish more often.
