iMac G3 Slot-Loading arcing/sparking for the first 5 minutes, then stabilizes. Is it just moisture or dirt?

Hi everyone!

I have an iMac G3 (Slot-Loading model with the rear VGA port) and I need some advice.

When I turn it on from a cold boot, the screen occasionally flickers and I can hear internal sparking/arcing sounds. However, this only happens during the first 5 minutes. Once the computer warms up, the sparking stops, the screen stabilizes, and it works perfectly fine with no more issues.

I live in a coastal area with high humidity, so I suspect it might be dust/moisture under the anode cap or a minor thermal expansion issue on the flyback transformer.

Since it completely stabilizes after a few minutes, is the flyback still salvageable? Would a safe discharge, deep cleaning with isopropyl alcohol, and applying dielectric grease around the anode cap fix this?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Edit: It's not completely stable because it does the same thing after five minutes, but less frequently.
