The Divders are to be placed between orders, I thought Everyone Knew That🤔

Has anyone just been scanning along and then out of nowhere the customer is like "That isn't Mine" but there was no divider and nobody said a thing- Why should I ask every customer where their order ends and the next order begins?

It's Loose Change (Mainly Dimes) That's Annoying

So my previous post was a bit misleading. I'm not attacking low income people who don't have any other way to pay except for change. I'm complaining about people who want to unload a ton of loose change on me by dumping it at my register, expecting me to count it all without rolling it first, and yes we do sell coin rolls for $1.25. If it's rolled I have absolutely ZERO issues with taking all the change in the world but counting all that change with a long line is frustrating and that's a hill I'll die on sorry not sorry 😐

Does Anyone have Issues with Customers not wanting to leave after Closing?

We Announce 3-4 Times and When we do Close We Announce that but there are Usually a Handful of Customers who Continue to Shop... I Don't Get it🤔

Light OFF.. Means Register is Open in Customer Language

Turn your light off and watch the line form.. Funny they will wander around looking for the light or following a cashier around but for some odd reason the minute you turn the light off, it's a signal to invade that particular register... Is D

If the Light is On.. The Register is Open🤓

Didn't realize this was such a conundrum until I began working here. Customers seem so lost and will follow cashiers around like lost puppies instead of just going to the open check out lane with the light on and cashier waiting? Like what in the world? Or they will stand back like they are waiting for a formal invitation to check out.. it blows my mind

What's up with the A/C at DT?

I thought our store was just an isolated situation but coming on here I now realize almost all DT's lack AC? My store is at a constant 84 degrees and I now believe corporate is behind this 😈

Do You Have this Issue at Your Store?

Ok so does anyone else deal with customers who take off to grab additional items without paying as soon as you finish checking them out? Leaving the cashier waiting for payment? This happens to us All the time so I just cash them out, and have my ASM do a post void. Then the customer gets an attitude when they decide to finish paying like 5 or even 10 min after leaving the checkout because now they have to wait in line again.. the entitlement is amazing 🤡

Just TAKE THE BAG!!

Don't know about y'all but nothing urks me more than a customer who watches you bag their item (s) and then proceeds to tell you "Oh I don't need a bag" and leaves the bags at the register.. Just take the damn thing I have enough to reuse it drives me nuts!!

Write Up??

Is it normal for the SM to write up people without even telling them? All cashiers got written up without a verbal warning or anything we didn't even know until we went into Workday. And the write ups were over something kinda petty- being a minute late from break
