My Wrangler 4xe has been in and out of the dealership since March still losing power after multiple repairs

I’m posting this because I want other Jeep 4xe owners, and especially anyone considering buying one, to be aware of what I’ve been dealing with.

I own a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe, and I have been dealing with a serious loss-of-power problem that still has not been properly resolved.

My Jeep has been going back and forth to the dealership since March. It has been a repeated cycle of taking the Jeep to the dealership, having repairs or diagnostic work performed, getting it back, and then having the problem return.

There have been times when I picked up the Jeep after a repair and, within just a few days, it was back at the dealership because the same problem happened again. For example, I picked it up on a Friday, and by Tuesday it was back at the dealer.

The most concerning incidents have happened while driving on the freeway.

The Jeep has lost power, started choking, and triggered the check-engine light. During one freeway incident, I had to pull over and restart the vehicle multiple times before I could continue driving. It wasn't just one stop I had to stop repeatedly because the vehicle kept losing power.

Having a vehicle lose power repeatedly while you're driving on the freeway is extremely concerning and, in my opinion, a serious safety issue.

I reported these problems to the dealership, and since then they have replaced multiple components, including:

  • Oxygen sensors- multiple times
  • Fuel pump
  • Fuel pump module
  • High-pressure fuel pump
  • Fuel line
  • And now they are replacing the power distribution center/power box based on instructions from Stellantis engineers.

Despite all of these repairs, the problem has continued to return.

I've also had to spend more than $4,000 out of pocket on rental vehicles because I cannot reliably use my own Jeep.

And now, on top of everything else, Stellantis is disputing/denying my rental reimbursement.

That's extremely frustrating because I didn't rent vehicles because I wanted to. I needed transportation while my Jeep was sitting at the dealership being diagnosed and repaired.

I'm not posting this to attack individual dealership employees. I want to document my experience and warn other 4xe owners about what I have experienced with Stellantis.

Has anyone else experienced repeated loss of power on a Wrangler 4xe where the dealership kept replacing different components but couldn't identify the root cause?

And if you went through a similar situation with Stellantis, how did it eventually get resolved?

I'm going to keep updating this post as things develop.
