Traveling with the pump?

I'm curious if or how those who use the pump at home travel? Assume you use compression wear.

Do you take the pump with you? If so, how do you pack it so it's not a huge cumbersome item to carry/transport?

Do you take it if driving but not if flying? How do you manage the swelling?

Another hoarder??

I've been lurking and reading but feel the need to post.

I recently requested that my great-grandmother's memorial be transferred to me along with other members of my family. They are all managed by the same user at present.

This user has over 25 million memorials they manage. Yes, I said million.

I requested almost a week ago and am still waiting a response. How long should I wait before reaching out again or contacting admin?

Making a wearable - How do I measure to make sure it's the right size?

I'm trying to make this https://www.jessieathome.com/netties-super-simple-cover-up/

It says to measure your waist then multiply by 2 and add 36. For me it would make it almost 13 feet long and with what I have in just the chain so far is 8 feet and it's big on me. That seems a bit much but I'm still learning so maybe not.

I'm using bamboo yarn with a 4.5 hook.

Wide Calf Open Toe Socks?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a wide calf, open toe compression sock?

I hate closed toe anything. It's been a running joke in my family since I was a teen (in my 40s now) that you know it's cold outside when I wear socks. I prefer hiking sandals to tennis shoes, only wear closed toe flats when I have to wear them. That being said, I'm looking for open toe compression socks.

My calf is 21 inches and while I can find compression socks for that size they aren't open toe.

Beginner Crocheter - Can you help me identify this pattern?

I saw this on Facebook and I'm curious what this pattern is and if a beginner could do it.

My teenage daughter and I are starting to learn crochet and she wants to make a throw blanket for her room. I thought this pattern would be cool.

Thanks in advance for any help!

After a long, difficult, ball-dropping adventure with the lymphedema clinic, my PCP and my insurance, I have a pump for home use.

I've been instructed to use it for 1 hour twice a day. Finding time to do that between work, end of year school events for my daughter, and taking care of two elderly people is challenging.

So my question is: Do I have to use it with my legs up or can I use it at my desk?
