One positive of not playing USC this year..
Is that we don't have to half ass hope they're good so they bolster our SoS.
Now I hope they just lose every game.

I'm subscribed to Irish illustrated, but I'm curious if anyone subscribes to any other ND forum like Irish sports daily or blue and gold, etc and if it's worth it?
Was looking at the roster and the OL is loaded with massive guys. I know they've had big guys here and there before but I can't recall everyone across the line being massive all at the same time. Or am I miss remembering?
I don't believe the line is set, but we can assume some spots.
LT Will Black 6'7" 316lbs LG Anthonie Knapp 6'5" 305lbs C Ashton Craig 6'5" 310 or Joe Otting 6'4" 305lbs RG Sullivan Abshner 6'7" 320lbs or Matty Augustine 6'8" 310lbs RT Guerby Lambert 6'7" 325lbs
Got randomly paired up with a 10 year old and his dad. At first I was thinking, oh man this round is going to take forever. Then the kid stripes his first drive down the middle ~200 yards.
The kid played from 5500 yards and shot -4 for 9 holes.
He didn't miss a single shot and hit every fairway and every green with most of his approach shots stopping within ~15 feet or closer to the pin.
Mind you this was on a Pete Dye course as well, not some random muni.
It was the most impressive and yet depressing thing I've ever seen in person lol. He easily could've shot -6 or -7 if a couple putts fell that burned the edge of the cup.
If the kid doesn't burn out, I'll be looking for his name on TV some day.
Example.
I recently played with a guy who, on every tee shot hit a literal foot behind the ball, his driver would skip off the turf and then would make contact with the ball, playing this massive slice that would find the fairway.
The other crazy factor is that he teed the ball super low and OUTSIDE his lead foot. I was watching him hit and I couldn't make any sense of how he was taking a divot a foot behind the ball and yet still making contact with the ball.
It was almost like he was hitting trick shots with his drives, it was kind of impressive lol.
Luke Talich as a backup safety has scored TDs in the following ways.
Pick Six TD against Florida st.
Punt return TD (blocked punt against Syracuse that he caught out the air and therefore was counted as a punt return).
Receiving TD (caught the pass on a fake punt against stanford and ran it like 80 yards for the TD)
The dude just seems to be in the right place at the right time. Would love to see him get a rushing TD and or passing TD just for the hell of it this year lol. That would be one hell of a trivia question in the future.
