So I got this canvas a few months ago and I've been putting it off because I'm scared it's gonna end up terrible. It's a 50x50 custom canvas that has a lot of detail but only 18 colors. It's beautiful now but I'm afraid it's gonna look horrible once I start or finish it
Thinking about getting this one this weekend. If I do it'll be the most colorful ones I've done with a total of 71 colors.
So I've been using this twist and pick pen from the diamond art club for a few hours now and I actually hate it. I like the concept of it and everything but for me it's hard to determine if I twisted it enough for the wax to come out and every time I think I did it right too much wax comes out. So I think I'll just stick to my normal single placer and wax square
I'm so excited I was able to find a diamond art club for a reasonable price and I finally got some release papers
I'm loving how this is turning out.only thing I don't like about it is how often I have to switch colors
So I'll be taking a break from this piece as I'm tired of staring at dark colors. I'm gonna be starting the pink horse I got from hobby lobby to help get back in the mood for finishing this one
Just placed an order for two pieces I've been looking at for a while and I'm excited about them. Also I'm gonna try out these clips I found as I discovered it's kinda hard to work on a longer canvas without having the proper tools
Over the past year I've done almost 40 different artworks and I wanted to post a few of my favorites
This is two days worth of progress and I'm happy with how it's coming along so far though I am getting tired of all the big blocks of black
Thanks to everyone's suggestions it helped me decide to do the dabi one. It's gonna take forever because I could never get used to multiplacers so I do everything by single placing but I'm willing to take on the challenge. Starting date 05/02/2026. Will try to post periodic updates
The first one will be the biggest one I've worked on so far it being a 40x70 but the horse will also be a first since it's already on a frame.both intimidate me as I've never done anything like them before
It was a real trust in the process moment due to it only having 18 colors but I loved how it turned out. Now all that's left is to get a frame and hang it up
