A few years ago I stumbled on Kotaro Lives Alone. I absolutely loved it. It very easily became one of my favorite pieces of entertainment in general even outside just the “anime” category. But I unfortunately don’t know if I can ever watch it again. I do often think about it, but every time I go to hit play I just think about the story and even though it’s beautiful it just feels too heavy. If another season were to come out I’d 100% watch without a doubt but I just don’t know if I can bring myself to watch the first season again. I had such a special experience watching it the first time that I think a part of me is also worried about tainting it?
