Hey everyone, I’m currently deciding between a 34" 3440×1440 IPS/VA monitor and a 34" OLED.

OLED looks amazing, but it’s quite a bit more expensive. I’m wondering about people who actually bought and used a 34" IPS or VA ultrawide instead of OLED.

For those of you using IPS/VA:

• Do you still feel satisfied with your monitor?
• Do you ever look at OLED and think “I really should have bought OLED”?
• Are the black levels, contrast, motion, and HDR on OLED really that noticeable in everyday use?
• If you could buy again, would you spend the extra money for OLED?
• For gaming + watching movies + general PC use, is OLED worth the extra cost?

I’m especially interested in people who currently own a 34" VA/IPS and have also experienced OLED, not just people recommending OLED based on specs.

Would love to hear your honest experience especially whether you have regret or no regret with your choice.
