My kids want to set up a lemonade stand at one of the local playgrounds. From what I've read online, I'll need to contact the city for permission. I plan to do that next week, but I was wondering if anyone has gone through this before. Any tips on what questions they might ask so I can be prepared?

My kids will be making fresh lemonade, chocolate chip cookies, and maybe some cupcakes. All activities will be supervised by me. We're in Bettendorf.

Also, if anyone has a link to the exact rules or instructions for getting permission, I'd really appreciate it. I looked online but couldn't find anything specific.

I have two gold rings that need to be resized. I stopped by a jewelry shop today, and their estimate was over $220, which isn't much less than what the rings originally cost. They have mostly sentimental value, so I'm hoping to find a more affordable option.
