Looking for comedians bringing shows to the Edinburgh Fringe

Hi everyone,

My name's Ruairí and I'm launching a new comedy interview podcast called Tickets Still Available.

The idea came from the fact that every Fringe has hundreds of brilliant shows competing for attention. I'd love to speak to comedians about the show they're bringing to Edinburgh, how it came together, what audiences can expect, and the experience of taking a show to the Fringe.

As well as talking about the show itself, I'm interested in the places comedians perform and the towns and cities they visit. That side of the podcast is loosely inspired by Mark Steel's in Town, exploring what makes a place unique and how it can influence a performance or simply provide a good story.

The conversations are informal and recorded remotely, so you don't need a professional setup. If you're travelling and only have your phone available, that's absolutely fine. If video isn't possible, we can simply use a headshot instead.

A little about me: I've been producing The More Freedom Foundation Podcast for over three years, so I'm comfortable with long-form interviews. If you'd like to get a feel for me in a more comedy-focused setting, I also appeared on episode 135 of the WTFDYW?! Podcast, where we discussed the Australian film Wake in Fright.

If you're taking a show to the Fringe and fancy a relaxed chat about it, I'd love to hear from you.

Happy to answer any questions in the comments, too.
