Im new to i3 and looking for a way to have apps open to specific workspaces on boot the way that assign + exec does, but still be able to open those apps in other workspaces if I want to. Id like to have workspaces for both firefox and my terminals, but still be able to open a terminal in my firefox workspace. any help is appreciated🙂
Id like to learn i3 so I just installed it on my cachyos system. When I try to switch to it I just get a black screen. It doesn't prompt me to create a config file, I cant open a terminal with mod + enter, I cant exit with mod shift + e. , all I can do is force shut down. I tried generating a config file with i3-config-wizard, and i tried making sure that I have the required packages. What's goin on here? Appreciate any help
All of a sudden surfshark on windows just opens up to a black window, I can interact with buttons (like close windows button) but cant see anything. Ive tried reinstalling and updating but nothing. Anybody know what this could be or have some troubleshooting tips?
