Female Hair for OTS

Maybe this is a dumb thing to be paranoid about but i’ve read the DAFI 36-2903 like 4 times over and my question still remains: what does the modern masculine woman do with her hair in the military??? I don’t have to/want to follow the male regs because my hair isn’t that short but it’s certainly short and not addressed in the female section either. I’m a civilian select and i’m getting my hair cut one more time before i leave for OTS on monday. Would these styles be okay??

Buying PTG before OTS

As a civilian selectee I can’t buy PTG or any uniforms on the exchange website and my dads info (retired marine) doesn’t work either. I really wanted to have a few pairs going into OTS. Anyone know where i can get some?

Also recs on how many hot weather vs. regular OCPs to get? I’m going in august

Handwritten or Typed PCA Note Taking

For the note taking assignment on the WINGS portal is it better to type and then print or print and hand write the answers? I prefer by hand but if typed is the standard i’ll do that.

Selected 26USSF01 board and already have OTS date???

I am a non prior and was notified of my selection april 15 2026 and i found out my OTS date yesterday! Class 27-01 USSF OTS and i report august 24th! This all happened so fast but Im relieved and excited to have a date. Any final words of wisdom as I enter the 100 day count down? Also anyone have the same class and have a gc going?
