Mac mini m4 vs MacBookAir m4

Hey folks,

I do not have a personal laptop currently and I was planning to buy a MacBook Air M4 for long term usage. I work as a software engineer and I want to use the laptop for general browsing, using AI tools(not locally, mostly cloud subscriptions). Also to work and build on personal projects.

Looking at the current prices, everything has rocketed sky high. Hopes of buying a MacBook have been kinda ruined. I was wondering if the Mac mini is the better option since it performs better and I have all the peripherals already. I was looking for a 16 GB 256 GB SSD. Also wondering if this is enough for long term usage?

What do you think is a better option looking at the prices currently?

Bored of lonliness

I’m 24M, currently a working as a software engineer. All my friends seem to have left Bangalore. So I don’t really have any people to hang around with. Also I used to play a lot of games on my PC but now it’s dead.

I thought I’ll buy a PS5 but now it looks like it’s faster to commute in Bangalore traffic than buy it. I joined a gym recently but I have difficulty in workouts since some of the machines are new to me and I don’t really have anyone to socialise there. Every weekend ends up me just bed rotting and playing some pointless games.

I’ve been meaning to start running/badminton. I also used to play football. But I don’t find anyone to play with

Are there honestly any good ways to kill the boredom in Bangalore? Should I be doing something or the other every weekend since I don’t get time on weekdays?
