Hi everyone,

I recently received my VFS appointment confirmation for German student visa, and I noticed that my name is mentioned in the wrong order.

My first name and last name have been swapped in the appointment confirmation. Both names are correct, but they are displayed in the opposite order.

Has anyone faced this issue before? What should I do now? Will this cause any problem at the appointment, or is the order not important?

I have already contacted the VFS helpdesk regarding this issue, but I haven't received any response yet.

Should I wait for their response, or can I attend the appointment with the confirmation as it is?

Any advice from someone who has faced a similar issue would be really helpful. Thanks!

Has anyone here successfully booked an appointment for a German student visa at Chennai VFS in the last week?

I’m trying to understand whether the VFS website is currently working properly for Chennai. If you have recently booked an appointment, could you please share:

• How you managed to book the appointment
• Whether you faced any issues with the VFS website
• Whether appointments were actually showing up for you
• Approximately how long it took to get an appointment

Any recent experience would be really helpful, especially from people who booked within the last 7 days.
