Recently picked up a Globalkeep Soleix8 because I wanted a cheaper way to mess around with electric dirt bikes before spending serious money.

So far it's been fun for what it is. Mostly riding gravel roads, loose dirt, forest roads, easy trails, and some muddy sections after rain. Nothing crazy. No jumps, no track, no top speed runs.

Now I'm already thinking about upgrades, and that's where I'm stuck.

Tires and brakes make sense. Maybe bars and pegs too. But once I start thinking about controller, battery, and suspension, it feels like I might be better off just saving for a better platform later.

I'm not trying to turn it into a 40kw

monster or pretend it's something it isn't. I just want it to feel more planted and less sketchy in loose dirt.

For people who started with a cheaper e-moto, was it worth upgrading?

Or did you eventually wish you had saved the money and moved to a better bike sooner?
