hello, i am a fan with borderline personality disorder. im of the opinion that ariana has shown some traits that are similar to someone with borderline personality disorder. because of this i have a theory that she could have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder around the time sweetener was being made. She often has blinds written about her, so perhaps wanting to avoid attention around this she made the song Borderline so that in case anything came out about it, when you search "ariana grande borderline" the only thing that comes up is her song. again, this is just a theory, and i speculate as someone who is diagnosed bpd myself. I will always root for her because i think shes a very special and generational talent and i can definitely relate to her for better or worse. I truly truly hope she gets on the path for recovery in every aspect of her life.

*edited for wording, im not trying to speak to the level of a professional because im not, this is purely just a theory from my personal experience. i love ariana and i would never want her to disclose her personal life or struggles unless its what she wants to do so and chooses to share with fans and the world. a very kind comment mentioned that borderline is very stigmatized and more complex than the reputation that follows it, and i completely agree. i'm truly not trying to criticize her or insult her at all, and i hope everyone here is also taking care of themselves.
