Coming to a year since my dad passed

Not a single day, not a single morning or a single night have I not remembered him and miss him. I can be at work, in the middle of the happiest most joyous occasion, I can be talking to you ….. heck even brushing my teeth in the morning and I see my dad looking into the mirror like he used to.

Time only allows you to master the art of performative function or hits you with other crises that momentarily take over - the loss remains fresh in mind and heart.

3G, last exam day - is it possible to swap the date?

My son’s getting his last exam date confirmation today and as luck would have it, it’s scheduled to be precisely in dates that I am abroad for work meetings. I can only make one day of the possibilities he has.

As a parent ofc I want to be there especially as I have been abroad so much in the last 2-3 years because of my dad’s declining health and subsequent passing. I don’t want to miss another key event.

Someone I know mentioned that it may be worth asking if he could swap the date with another date?

I don’t know the practicalities of this or what kind of challenges it raises or whether it’s even possible. But I am hoping someone here may be able to shed some light before I ask him to ask his teacher :/

UPDATE: thanks for all the advice all sorted and swapped .

I complained about hair loss specifically … also dry skin, fatigue…..

She said all my results including the one above are fine . Nothing to change apart from stop taking vitamin d as I had too much.

Should I start taking supplements? And why would this falling pattern not trigger concern.
