My partner and I planned to play our first round of golf at metro golf centre, it’s a small par 3 so we thought good for casuals. We’ve only ever been to the driving range about 15 times in the last 3 months.

The confirmation email includes the below information, how strict will this be???

Handicaps

This facility is only available to golfers who have a handicap of 28 or
less (men) or 36 or less (ladies). If you don't have a handicap, you
must be able to play to an equivalent standard.
