I got this done on Preview Night of SDCC in the summer of 2024. One of my 4 DC tattoos. It's the splash page to Robin #0. This issue came out when i was 13 and it's been a favorite of mine since then. It's nice to always have it with me.
Hi everyone!
This is a set of coaster sketches that Walter Simonson did for a charity Drink & Draw back in 2021. The characters are (for posterity purposes) -
• **Robin (Tim Drake)**
• Thor
• Darkseid
• Hercules
• Loki
• Hela
I absolutely love the character selection, because you've got the usual Simonson suspects, but especially because Tim Drake is my favorite Robin!
I would use this as an exercise on my writing class - what's the scenario here? What has brought these 6 characters together? Funny, serious, doesn't matter... whats the scenario you would come up with?
So, now I ask... What's the scenario that each of YOU would come up with? I'm curious to see what everyone does! Have fun!
I hope you guys like it! I have more in the works when life slows down a bit.

So, Robin is my favorite DC character, very specifically Tim Drake. I've been stoked for this figure since they Medicom revealed him. While I understand everyone's frustration with this figure, there has never been a 1/12 scale Tim Drake figure this good. The lack of bicep swivel and the Revoltech elbows are annoying, but i still think he poses nicely and looks great. Some more accessories would've been nice, especially a grapple gun hand considering he uses one during his fight with Catwoman in Batman #616.
For me, this costume is always my default for Tim. I'm happy to finally have him in the collection. I know Impulse is a long shot from Mafex, but it'd be great to have him to display with Robin and Superboy.
