so I had a 39 x 29“ music award frame (11 pounds ) dropped off at a FedEx location and billed to my account # that I had them package it and box it and ship it out for me because the person that I bought it from was older. anyways, the box was $29 which was billed separately which is fair and then the shipping was $89. And this was going from Massachusetts to Florida . But the ” handling charges “ $435.65 is ridiculous. I mean it was just a picture frame. It’s not made out of cement. I don’t understand how they could charge me this and then when I tried to call up on the phone and talk to them about it they just described that it was a large frame didn’t give me much detail . Anyways $526 in today’s world is a lot for a FedEx delivery
is there any way I can challenge this? I was expecting around $200 at the most.
i’m not saying that I want the delivery for free. I obviously know I have to pay, but I just feel the price is ridiculous.
or please let me know in the comments if there’s nothing I can do and it’s final and I just have to pay it
