Getting back to it at 39

I have been thinking about getting back into goalkeeping after last playing when I was 23. If you can imagine I am excited at the idea l, but also a little nervous. (Can I play the position with at least some shred of dignity still).

I am not looking to play in a hyper competitive league or a completely casual league either.

But regardless, anyone have any tips on getting reconditioned to play the position again ( I am in pretty good shape for my age. Hard cardio and some lifting every week). Any drills, stretches, etc. Keep in mind I am mostly prepping solo until I find a team to join.

Also, I have not really kept up or know what kinds of equipment/brands are “good” for someone in my kind shoes. So I am open to any suggestions for this as well.
