I have to choose between rooting for the team that knocked us out of the playoffs or... Trump.
The first two games of the finals I chalked it up as the Spurs being tired after a 7 game series in the WCF.
NYK are gelling so well in the playoffs. I still think the East is weak compared to the West but this is similar to football. You gotta get hot at the right time.
What are the Knicks doing to disrupt Wemby and that offense that most teams haven't been able to accomplish so far this year.
Wemby isn't dirty, he's reactive. He's not used to this physicality and his emotions are getting the best of him because he's young and inevitably immature. Yes, he's been caught doing some dirty shit but I think it's more out of frustration.
Wemby needs to eat nothing but cheeseburgers if he wants to live up to expectations. This is a very real welcome to the league scenario. Stretch bigs can be exposed. He's obviously elite but we've seen this before where big men prefer to shoot fadeaway jumpers and 3s and that comes back to bite them.
Do you think next year is a must compete year? I get nervous thinking about the idea that we're nowhere near being a true competitive team. Dame might be coming back to literally the same situation he had previously, only worse.
