I spent months searching for a bold, eye-catching Birkin. Every time Bleu Canard came up, I’d scroll right past it. To my mind, this dark blue just seemed plain and unexciting.
I finally pulled the trigger roughly three weeks ago.
What surprised me most is how versatile it is. I’ve carried it to back-to-back work meetings, quick coffee runs and evening dinners. It fits all my daily essentials without bulging, and it never feels overly dressy no matter what the occasion is.
I find it fascinating how the bag’s hue shifts subtly depending on the lighting.
Just curious — has anyone else slept on a color, only to completely change their mind once they see it in person? Do you gravitate toward bold bright shades, or understated tones made for everyday use?
My SA tagged me again, and of course I went.
I thought I was just going in to look at bags, but the whole visit turned into coffee, snacks, and a little pampering. Before I left, my SA even packed two Americanos for me to take away.
The sweetest part was getting perfume as a gift. It is such a small detail, but it made the whole visit feel extra special.
Honestly, bag shopping is already fun, but these little surprises make it even better.
My friend’s P7 purple Kelly Doll was a color I honestly thought would look a little strange.
But after trying it on, it somehow worked really well with my black-and-white knit, and the purple didn’t feel as hard to style as I expected.
Bags really can’t be judged by photos alone, especially H colors — you have to try them on.
Instead of following popular colors, choosing the shade that actually suits you is what makes it look best.
I still haven’t fully decided what this Hermès crystal piece is supposed to be.
It could be an ice bucket, a side table, or just something to hold random little things.
Honestly, I didn’t think that far when I got it. I just thought it looked too pretty with the light on.
Once it lights up, the crystal pattern reflects onto the wall and floor, and the whole corner suddenly looks more interesting.
Now my real problem is: where should I put it, and what should I put inside?
Would you use it as an ice bucket, a side table, or just keep it as a decorative piece?
This little pink bag is already very sweet, but now I’m stuck on the clasp.
The CH-style clasp makes it look a bit cooler and tones down the pink. The shooting-star clasp feels more playful and goes really well with the color.
It’s such a tiny hardware detail, but changing it makes the whole bag feel different. I clearly enjoy overthinking small things like this.
Which one do you think works better on this pink bag: the CH-style clasp or the shooting-star clasp?
